heyy! gotta say, i think i’ve become a lil different ever since i started blogging, not in a good or bad way – just different.
soo, i thought i’d put together a bunch of things bloggers might just see little differently from the rest of the world.
1. TRAFFIC DIPS.
it was going so good… then they fell suddenly- WHAT DO I NOW?! cue the panic, oops. even though stats aren’t everything, i won’t lie; seeing my traffic drop stresses me out to a certain extent.
2. THAT FEELING WHEN YOUR BLOG DOES WELL.
be it reaching a goal, a high traffic day, getting a super heartfelt comment, getting noticed by someone you admire… the list just goes on. something as simple as one of those can make you feel like the whole blogging struggle is worth it.
3. BLOGGING ON THE GO.
idle minutes are a thing of the past. as soon as you have a spare minute, you’ll be checking your blog, posting on social media to remind your readers that you’re still alive, or scribbling down new ideas (if you have inspiration, that is… and we all know how elusive that is.)
4. ANYTHING YOU SEE COULD BECOME A POST.
the number of times i’ve chanced across something while shopping and had a myriad of ideas run through my mind… my goodness. ever since becoming a blogger, i’ve been getting ideas from loads of things around me, simply because i’m just on the lookout for inspiration. i honestly think this is one of the coolest things i’ve gotten out of blogging, because ideas come to me so much more easily now.
5. SPENDING LOADS OF TIME ON PHOTOS.
we bloggers all love photos and know how important they are! i’m definitely guilty of buying cute stationery with the main purpose of having it in a shoot (don’t worry i’ll still end up using them, photos come first.), then designating whole mornings to a good shooting session. running around with a camera in hand and moving objects around my fleece… hm.
(oh, and taking random photos of things out of the blue because you think they’ll look good on your blog.)
6. BEING FLATTERED / WEIRDED OUT THAT FRIENDS READ YOUR BLOG.
gosh, i can relate to this one SO MUCH. i’ve had tons of people come up and be like “hey, i love your blog”, which is honestly the absolutely coolest thing ever. but also a teensy bit terrifying, because it gives me such high expectations knowing that people i know in real life follow my blog and hoping they enjoy it. still, very very thankful to every friend of mine who reads this blog 🙂 you know who are.
7. RUSHING TO FINISH POSTS LAST MINUTE.
flip open your diary… OOPS. insert your curse word of choice here, because you were supposed to post today! oh, and you don’t have a post ready. i’ve been caught off guard like this SO. MANY. TIMES. i’ve written so many blog posts that way, sitting in bed past midnight madly typing away. //laughs sheepishly
which of these can you relate to?? tell me belowww 🙂 and even if you’re not a blogger, hopefully these open up the world of blogging to you.
(pssst, enjoyed this sort of post?? here’s one of the exact same type. you’re welcome!)
